Over the past 12 years, Bert Teunissen has photographed interior spaces in hundreds of pre-World War homes throughout Europe. Using available daylight, he captures light and atmosphere reminiscent of his childhood home in The Netherlands and records a way of life that is quickly disappearing. Teunissen will speak about this ongoing series that explores identity and originality.

Domestic Landscapes was exhibited and published by Aperture, New York, in 2007. Recent solo exhibitions include Huis Marseille in Amsterdam, The Photographers’ Gallery in London, Universiteit van Tilburg in the Netherlands and Museum Haus Esters in Germany.
