The intensive workshop with internationally acclaimed photographer, Donald Weber begins with a discussion on documentary photography, revealing his personal experiences and insight in travel, working methods, research and story telling. Day two will be dedicated to reviewing student’s portfolios and specific predetermined assignments. Weber will focus on editing, offering vital feedback and criticism. Currently residing between Moscow and Kiev, Weber is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2007, and received the Lange-Taylor Documentary Prize and a World Press Award.
