This workshop will teach photo-based artists how to prepare for and get the most out of a formal portfolio review. Topics that will be discussed include image selection, presentation mode and what to expect in the review session including tips on how to guide the discussion about your work. In the latter half of the workshop, artists will have the opportunity to participate in a practice review session. Please bring in a selection of up to ten images (maximum size 16 x 20 inch prints, or bring digital images on a laptop) for a casual group critique of your work and advice on how best to present it, depending on your goals. This session will be useful for first timers or for those who have done reviews before.
