If you are organizing a photography exhibition in Toronto and would like to be a part of CONTACT 2014 in May, there are two ways to participate in the Festival: as an Open Exhibition or a Featured Exhibition.

All exhibitions (both Open and Featured) must register with CONTACT on our website.

Submissions are not accepted for CONTACT's curated programming, including Primary Exhibitions, Public Installations and Special Events.

Are you a photographer looking for a venue to exhibit your work in? Please see our FAQ page for information. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter to receive the latest calls for submissions in the community.

Open Exhibitions

CONTACT registration is based on an open call for exhibitions structure. We welcome anyone presenting an exhibition of photography during the month of May 2014 in Toronto to participate in the CONTACT Festival as an Open Exhibition.

Participants are responsible for arranging their own venue. Once you have a venue to exhibit your work, you may register your exhibition with CONTACT on our website. Traditional exhibition venues may be used, as well as non-traditional exhibition spaces such as community centres, studios, cafes, shops, and restaurants.

Exhibitions must occur during the month of May in the Greater Toronto Area, although they can begin before May 1, and end after May 31.

Open Exhibition benefits include:
Exhibition listing with 75 word description and one image reproduction in the CONTACT Festival magazine;
One web page with up to three images on the Festival website;
Press access to your downloadable image on the website;
CONTACT venue signage;
Free copies of the CONTACT Festival Magazine;
Option to sell your magazines for the cover price, and keep the proceeds.
