Artist Talk: Lise Beaudry

Artist, Lise Beaudry, will join curator, Stuart Keeler and Persilia Caton, Artistic Project Manager at CONTACT, for conversation and an informal walk through the exhibition, Sur la Glace | Standing on Ice.

Residing in Toronto, Lise Beaudry is the Director of Gallery 44 Centre for Contemporary Photography. Her photography and video work has been shown across Canada, in the U.S., Romania, Berlin and Arles, France, during Les Rencontres d’Arles Photographie. In Canada, she has exhibited in artist-run centres from coast to coast incuding A Space (Toronto), Grunt Gallery (Vancouver), Eastern Edge Gallery (St.John’s), La Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario (Sudbury) and AXENÉO7 (Gatineau). She has produced three commissioned film and video works that have been shown in Dublin, Belgium, Yellowknife, New York and Miami.

Currently she is a Professor in the Art and Art History program at Sheridan College and the University of Toronto Mississauga.
