Accomplished Toronto artist Spring
Hurlbut photographs the remains of
cremation, a process she began after
the death of her father. Her exhibition
is an open invitation to share not so
much the consequences of death, but
a profound viewing experience of loss
and transformation. Opening reception
held in conjunction with the release for
Prefix Photo 15. The exhibition is accompanied
by an essay by Maia-Mari Sutnik
and is supported by the Toronto Arts
Council.
