The Neighbo(u)rhood

May 1–31, 2008
Coupe Space
998 Queen St. E

Renowned graphic designer Bill Douglas, whose
collision of design and photography has made his
visual culture magazine project, Coupe, an
acclaimed success worldwide, blows up his unique
vision and nails it to the wall for public
consumption. In The Neighbo(u)rhood, Douglas
dissects and explores the relationships between
societies and nations. From personal and national
identity, cultural phenomena and social
relationships, our perceptions are exposed,
challenged and vividly confirmed.
