Two Artists' Truth

According to McLuhan, a medium affects the society in which it plays a role, not only through the content delivered by the medium, but also by the characteristics of the medium itself. We view digital photography as a pervasive medium that influences photography and other art forms. The ease by which the “real” image can be altered allows artists the freedom to convey their personal truth in a variety of ways.
