Nikon Day

Ryerson University, Library Building (LIB 72)
350 Victoria St

As the professional imaging and multimedia landscape evolves, creative visionaries find themselves increasingly demanding more from their equipment. They depend upon their digital SLRs to help them tell a story, document a moment, and inspire audiences. They need versatility and functionality, and they are expected to produce exceptional results. Their equipment needs to be able to handle any assignment given to them, and must adapt to unpredictable shooting environments and conditions. Anything less may compromise the integrity of their work.

World-class photographer Kristian Bogner, award-winning videographer Kirk Neff, and imaging expert Jon Blacker, will share their expertise during this evening of talks. Bogner and Neff will host "One Camera - Two Perspectives," which will discuss the use of multimedia HD-SLRs such as the Nikon D800 to produce spectacular stills, portraits, videos, and documentaries. Blacker's talk, titled "Infrared Portraiture," will discuss this different approach to capturing images with interesting effects, moods, and qualities.

Nikon Professional Services team will also be on hand for a technical Q&A and will provide a complimentary sensor cleaning service for all those who bring their Nikon digital SLR products.

Free and open to the public. Please RSVP to info@scotiabankcontactphoto.com.

Presented by Nikon Canada.
