Magnum photographer Mark Power, will present a talk on a number of his long-term projects and his recent book, Die Mauer ist Weg!.

Power was born in Harpenden, England, in 1959. Power’s photographs have been shown in numerous galleries and museums across the world and are in several important collections, both public and private. Often working on long-term projects, his work explores architecture, industry, and infrastructure. Power has pub- lished seven books: The Shipping Forecast (1996); Superstructure (2000); The Treasury Project (2002), 26 Different Endings (2007); The Sound of Two Songs (2010); Mass (2013); and Die Mauer ist Weg! (2014), a self-published book about chance and choice set against the backdrop of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Power became a Magnum member in 2007. He is Professor of Photography at the University of Brighton.
