This exhibition features massive CAMERA-LESS photographs revealing the living vitality of people, flowers, and fruiting trees produced with original, 21st-century updates of the historical Cyanotype process from 1842. Images were created with natural sunlight and living subjects at true life-size, 1:1 scale with an austere range of soothing white, cyan, and deep blue tones. These works present the living world as is, both intricately delicate and powerfully massive. At 9 × 12 ft., some works are the largest single-take photographs produced in Canada.
Artist talk and closing reception on May 26.
