Join renowned China-based photographer, art critic, curator, educator, and award-winning author Bao Kun for a talk about contemporary and conceptual photography in China.

Active in Chinese photography since the 1980s, Mr. Bao is a leading figure of contemporary Chinese photographic culture. He was voted the most influential person in Chinese photography in 2009 by Pixel magazine (UK). He is a frequent judge at major photography events and festivals. His academic publications include Seeing, and Seeing Again, The Restless Time; he also co-edited the volume Photographic China: Fifty Years of Chinese Photography and numerous articles. His curated exhibitions include Law of Ink, Delight of Water, City Besieged by Garbage, The Land and etc.
