The core truth and nature of identity can be objectively represented by the various “selves” that one chooses to proclaim, whether consciously or not. The images in this exhibition seek to transform these common portraits into that fully realized vision. The collection includes 35 silver gelatin selenium-toned lith prints of extraordinary technical quality, printed by Bob Carnie. Manipulating the photographs with the Sabatier effect results in an image that is part negative and part positive.
