A photographic and multimedia ethnography of the neighbourhood’s population; a portrait study in search of Kensington’s ever-transient identity reflected in the faces of its residents, shop owners, and visitors. With the use of photography, projections, lights, shadows and physical models the gallery space is transformed into an experience that captures the unique character of one of the most culturally diverse neighbourhoods in Toronto: Kensington Market. A collaboration between SUMO project, Lovera Motion + Photography, Aagency and Derooted.
