Exploring beauty and the preserved, A Slip of Life exposes deep introspection of the unexpected in unknown parts. The elements of long life in natural and contrived environments project dramatic reincarnations. Beach reveals beauty in the decimated, spoiled, and marginalized. What emerges is derelict and menagerie afterlife with subjects that have formed a life of their own. A collaboration of light, form, colour, and camera, creating a new visual form.

Brzezinski’s photographs document a short walk in Montreal in April 1976, from Sainte-Catherine Street to Saint-Laurent Boulevard, from Birks to Schwartz’s Deli. His photographic journey captures the faces of Montrealers living their lives and jobs.
